In District 50 we want all our children to learn and to be successful. Join us for a community conversation on January 10, 2009 from 10:00am to 2:00pm at Hodgkins Elementary School to discuss how we can help create educational opportunities for our young people.

From the Principal
Welcome back Sherrelwood students and families!
We’re very excited for a new school year as we explore Standards-based education. I am especially excited to be here at Sherrelwood as your new principal. I am coming, most recently, from Arizona where I was a principal in a K-8 school. Before that I was a principal in New Jersey in a school very much like Sherrelwood. I was born and raised in Colorado and am thrilled to be back home.
We hope you will take advantage of every opportunity to be involved in your child’s education this year. We welcome your thoughts and ideas and appreciate your support. Student safety is our number one priority and we will be working hard to make every minute count while your children are in school. The staff at Sherrelwood is one of the most dedicated and knowledgeable that I’ve ever worked with. We are truly a team, working for the benefit of your children. I encourage you to be an active part of this exciting adventure.
